Intensive Care Unit:

 

Our Intensive Care Unit at MHCC accomodates 5 patients. On average, the nurses in ICU care for one to two patients at once and are able to provide vigilant nursing care due to this low nurse-to-patient ratio. We also have five portable telemetry monitors, which allow us to monitor ECG activity of patients located in other departments throughout the hospital.

Our nurses work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, lab technicians and radiology to ensure adequate care of the patients and their families.
