“I underwent a total knee replacement at MHCC. When I talk about my surgery, I tell everyone that I had the best care! Even the “fuzzy” period after surgery when coming out of anesthesia was positive because the care and attention I received in that state felt like love, not just staff doing their jobs. I felt safe and watched over and a little less miserable because of the presence of the staff. A number of the hospital Administration, discharge, and billing staff also stopped by just to introduce themselves and put a face to a voice I might encounter on the phone in the future. I can’t begin to thank my surgical team, Dr. Allred and Bob Keel, for the new possibilities that are now available to me because of my new knee! The anesthesia team made me comfortable and I felt at ease with their knowledge and competence.

I’m at a loss to articulate more clearly the feeling of love and being watched over and cared for that I experienced. It is the totality of every person I interacted with during my stay at MHCC that allows me to say with confidence that should I face another surgery, MHCC and Dr. Allred will be my first choice!”
