Memorial Hospital of Carbon County appreciates being considered for Skilled Nursing Care Patients. We can serve any county/any state.
We accept short term Medicare patients. The patient must be stable and have already met three midnight Acute Care stay criteria prior to the referral. We have a total of 3 Skilled Nursing and/or Rehab Beds available at this time in our Critical Access Hospital, and we can accommodate up to 5 swing bed patients concurrently.

Who Qualifies?
- Have Medicare Part A
- Minimum 3 day hospital stay
- Begin within 30 days of original hospital stay
- Require either skilled nursing care or skilled therapy services

In addition to activities within the facility, Swing Bed patients may also enjoy approved day passes to spend time outside the facility with family and friends. Patients are also able to attend scheduled medical appointments as needed, ensuring continuity of care during their stay.
