MHCC offers employees, working 24 or more hours per week, medical options through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Wyoming. Both a Traditional PPO and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) are offered. The deductible for each plan is based on a tier system.

Dental coverage is included in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming Health plan. This plan has a $50 individual deductible and a maximum benefit of $2,000.00 per participant. The dental plan does not require the use of providers within a dental network, therefore giving employees the freedom to visit any covered provider. All full and part time employees, working 24 hours or more per week are eligible. The cost for this dental plan is covered in the health insurance premiums.
Vision Service Plan (VSP)
Employees can enroll in additional vision coverage through VSP. VSP is a full service vision plan with coverage for exams, lenses, frames, and contacts. All full and part time employees, working 24 hours or more per week are eligible.
MHCC provides all full time employees with a life insurance policy ranging from $15,000 to $50,000, depending on the position. Employees may purchase additional coverage for themselves and dependents.
MHCC offers employees 401k and 457b retirement savings plans. Employees are eligible to contribute to their retirement plan, after their first 30 days. MHCC will provide a 2% contribution match after the employee’s 1st year of continuous employment. This retirement plan has a 5 year vesting schedule.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
MHCC provides all employees with professional and confidential services to assist with emotional well-being, healthy lifestyles, family and relationships, work, and life transitions, will preparation and travel support services.
Emergency Medical Transport Services
MHCC offers all full time employees (working at least 32 hours per week) 2 choices for air emergency transport services.
Paid Time Off
Paid Time Off (PTO) is offered to all employees working at least 20 hours per week. PTO is used for any absences for illness, injury, holidays, and vacation.
Sick Leave is offered to compensate eligible employees with leave benefits during absences for their illness or injury.
MHCC also offers benefit eligible employees, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness, Short Term Disability, Flexible Spending Plans for both medical and dependent care, and Health Savings Accounts for those employees enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan.
