Dr. Abels was born in Iowa and raised in Arizona. He received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Arizona with a BS in Chemistry and Biology and a minor in physics and psychology. His stretch as a patient for 30 days when a senior in high school led to his decision to become a physician, he said. Dr. Abels has been a TV cameraman, a photographer for a newspaper, and resident assistant in chemistry to help pay for medical school at the College of Osteopathic Surgery and Medicine. He wanted to live in the west and loved Wyoming… so Rawlins became his home. He enjoys football (Denver Broncos and Wyoming Cowboys) as well as motorcycling. What he enjoys about being a physician is “being able to constantly help one person”.
Dr. Darin Allred graduated medical school from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Oklahoma University and finished with a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy fellowship in San Diego. I was born and raised in Kentucky but moved to Wyoming in 2012 to get closer to family. I graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2017 with a doctorate of nursing practice degree and I am a board certified family nurse practitioner that has specialized in non-surgical pain management. I’ve been married for 15 years and have 3 kids and I enjoy watching football (especially the Dallas Cowboys) and traveling. I have a passion for helping people manage their pain and really enjoy serving the Rawlins community.
Chere Bohr received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wyoming, a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, and a Master of Arts from Liberty University in Human Services Counseling; Life coaching. Her background includes Women and Children’s services, Intensive Care, Emergency care and Forensic Nursing.
Chere empowers patients to create their healthiest lives by providing individualized care to the whole family through wellness exams, family planning, sick visits, and management of acute and chronic conditions. When she is not working, she can be found spending time with her family and friends in various outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, running, sporting events and visits to sandy beaches.

Dr. Bryan was born in Louisiana, and raised in Powell, WY. It was while an EMT in Powell that he decided to go to medical school and become an ER doctor. His undergraduate degree came from Northwest Community College in Powell and then University of Wyoming with a BS in Chemistry. His medical degree was received from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. While at Creighton, he became a Christian and has spent much of his career as a missionary and doctor as well as flight surgeon in Africa. Dr. Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, home schooling, and outdoor activities.
Amanda Jones, PA-C, graduated from Idaho State University with her Master of PA Studies degree. Amanda is fluent in Spanish, has a background in nutrition, and is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She is seeing patients at MHCC Family Practice Clinic in Rawlins, providing services for:
Bob Keel received his RN at Weber State University and his PA-C at the University of Utah. Additionally, he has an extensive clinic background, and was one of only two students chosen to participate in an extended emergency training clinical experience.
He is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage patients in family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics and critical care. As a Physician Assistant, he specializes in the treatment of diabetes, headaches, common cold, chest pain, heart disease, well child exams, allergies and much more.
