Due to a significant increase in COVID-19 cases and exposures throughout the county, Memorial Hospital of Carbon County will be reinstating drive-thru screening services.

Beginning Friday, September 3rd, individuals will be able to receive a free Curative PCR test available at 606 23rd Street, formerly known as Wyoming Recovery, located immediately to the West of the hospital.  Testing will take place from 10 am-Noon.  Services will resume Tuesday, September 7th, and continue through the remainder of the week.  The need for additional scheduled days will continue to be evaluated week by week and communicated via the MHCC Facebook Page and website.

It should be noted that testing is most effective 3-5 days after being exposed.  Testing prior to this time frame provides a higher chance of receiving a false negative result.

Individuals are encouraged to complete the screening paperwork in advance and bring with them at time of testing.  The form can be found at our website, www.imhcc.com, at the bottom of the “News” section under “COVID-19 Testing” on the home page.  The form is available in both English and Spanish.
