Memorial Hospital of Carbon County Experiencing Internal Network Breach
Memorial Hospital of Carbon County was subjected to a ransomware attack on Sunday, March 20,2022.
It is important to emphasize that Medhost and Athena, the organization’s two electronic health record systems, have not been compromised.
Manual back-up processes have been implemented to ensure patient care is not impacted. The MHCC IT Department and external IT vendors are working to resolve and ensure all systems are reactivated as soon as possible. An exact timeline is currently unknown; however, we are estimating up to 72 hours for full resolution.

The MHCC Family Practice Clinic-Rawlins can be reached by calling 307-321-0201 or by sending a message via the Patient Portal. Please note that this line can only accommodate one call at a time; we appreciate everyone’s patience as clinic staff work to accommodate everyone’s needs.
