Ryan Shedd, MSNA, AGNP, CRNA, NSPM-C graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of North Florida and earned a Master of Science degree in Nurse Anesthesiology from University of Alabama at Birmingham. He performed his clinical residency training in anesthesia at the University of Florida and trained with the United States Naval Academy in regional anesthesia and acute pain as part of his residency training. He then sought fellowship training in pain management in the great state of Montana.   He graduated from the University of Boston, Massachusetts with sub-specialty training in adult geriatric care to complement his management of aging patients suffering with chronic pain.    He is dual boarded and holds sub-specialty training and board certification in anesthesia and non-surgical pain management.  He was the 5th provider in the nation to hold dual-board certifications in anesthesia and non-surgical pain management out of more than 52,000 Nurse Anesthesiologists nationally. Ryan’s greatest satisfaction as a provider comes from dually educating his patients as he works to help them to reduce their chronic pain and make a positive impact on their quality of life.

Ryan lectures nationally supporting education seminars/cadaver labs for non-surgical pain management fellows. He is an adjunct faculty member for Texas Christian University’s non-surgical pain management fellowships for nurse anesthesiologists training in chronic pain management.  Ryan makes his home in Northern Colorado with his wife, a photographer, and five sons. Ryan and his family enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting and camping in Colorado and Wyoming.
